The cycles are stored by means of a dedicated lift operated with an Oyster card with prepaid credit. The towers height is 7 meters and they can be assembled quickly with minimal foundations with prefabricated components. The footprint of the scheme is 114 sq m (0.14 sq m per bicycle) effectively freeing up precious floor area at pavement level.
